Printed Matters Postal Tax Issue (Nov. 1909)

Mohammad-Ali Shah Qajar abdicated the thrown in favor of his son on July 16th, 1909. An imperforate stock of stamps was hand-stamped to be used as a postal tax used on the publications incoming from abroad.
Reportedly 500 sets were hand-stamped. The postally used copies are extremely rare.
